Upon registration, we require a copy of your pet’s up-to-date vaccinations or clean and clear titre test results. Dog students must be current on: Rabies, Parvo, DHLP, and Bordetella, and can attend group sessions after 14 days of vaccine administration. Monthly parasite prevention is also required to stop any outbreaks of fleas, ticks or lice. Speak to your vet about which monthly regime is best for your dog.
Puppy Preschool Students: please note; due to your pup's age, vaccinations will not have been completed. Therefore, special arrangements are made for you and your baby dog. Please speak with your trainer to ensure you understand these arrangements before coming to Puppy Preschool classes.
If the Dog Student is not a show dog or being bred, it is preferred that they are spayed or neutered at the earliest opportunity. Intact dogs are welcome to participate in all of our group programs until 8 months of age. Should students choose to keep their dog intact past 8 months of age, we will accommodate their training by setting up private sessions.
How to Register
To enroll your puppy dog, we need 3 things from you:
1) this registration form
2) proof of vaccination and spay/neuter (need Bordetella when pup is old enough)
3) payment + gst
Online applicants are asked to email all of your documents to us =]
We can accept your registration fee by e-transfer to email@example.com. Your vet can email the Vaccination Certificate to us at firstname.lastname@example.org as well.
Upon receiving your full registration (the above 3 things), you'll receive a confirmation letter containing more details such as what to bring to each class, address & directions, dates & times, etc.
Who Can Attend WAGGLES Programs?
Adults and children over the age of 7 may attend WAGGLES programs. One competent handler per dog.
Aggressive dogs will be assessed in-home then further directed to either the Grouchy Dogs Program or Private Aggression Solutions. This includes dogs who are not approachable, who pose a bite risk to other dogs & people, or are in need of a Socialization program.
Only healthy dogs can come to class. If your dog is coughing, sneezing a lot, lethargic, has diarrhea or is exhibiting other signs of possible illness (ie. heavy discharge from eyes, vomiting, breathing difficulties, etc.) or has open wounds, it is best to keep pup at home under veterinarian observation.
We start training as early as 7 weeks old (some restrictions apply) and we always welcome the senior dog.
